We can provide a range of civil engineering services. Usually in the form of highway design, our expertise in this field brings together years of experience in designing roads to suit a range of uses; from lightly trafficked residential estate roads to major highways.
We provide a full compliment of services to our clients from design through liaison with the local highway authority to supervision of work during construction.
Our experience in highway design includes the design and specification of footpaths, cycle routes and has even included the design of a footbridge over a quarry!
Highway design also incorporates the provision of associated highway drainage, street lighting and street furniture, and our engineers are able to provide our clients with a full design package, incorporating these elements.
Considering drainage in greater detail we have a wide ranging experience of providing foul and surface water drainage solutions. As part of a civil engineering package, a sustainable Urban Drainage System for surface water and foul water, compliant with water authority requirements, is central to our design.
We can also provide retrospective solutions for tackling surface water drainage problems where the existing system is insufficient.
More unusual civil engineering works have been undertaken with coastal defence schemes, lakeside shore works and jetty design.
